Nature Coloured 2023

This year the colors of and connections with the mangroves are still strongly influencing my work. Other elements are starting to emerge in my artworks.The birds of the mangroves with their expressive wings have become the visual representation of my emotions as a part of Nature. My intention is this will be a pathway for others to also see themselves as a part of Nature.

My mangrove series was created in 2022 in response to dingy trips up mangrove creeks near Arlie beach. I found the colors and reflections in the mangroves took me to another world, so separate from the everyday. This connection lifted my spirts and I am in turn allowing Nature to connect with others through my work.
